How VPSPedia compares VPS hosting.

Every recommendation should be explainable from visible fields rather than a hidden editor score.

1. Company and jurisdiction

Seller/invoicing company and server location are separate fields. A server in Amsterdam does not automatically make the seller a Dutch company.

2. Price and renewal

Promotional price, billing commitment, renewal amount and mandatory add-ons are separated.

3. Compute and RAM

vCPU, CPU class, shared/dedicated resources and RAM per recurring dollar are compared.

4. Storage and network

Capacity, technology, bandwidth, overages, IPv4 and IPv6 are tracked independently.

5. Recovery and management

Backups, snapshots, rescue mode and support scope are different fields.

6. Benchmarks

Future first-party tests will publish configuration, region, date and method.

7. Affiliates

Affiliate revenue can fund the site but does not determine technical scoring. Providers with and without affiliate programs can appear in the same comparison.

Commercial scope: VPSPedia can cover international providers. French providers are currently excluded from the monetized shortlist, while US, Dutch, German, Lithuanian and other non-French companies may be included when technically relevant.
